Yeomans

1896

Stretton Sugwas, Herefordshire

9th April 1917

Killed in action at the Battle of Arras, France probably from the heavy enemy machine gun fire from the left hand side as they were attacking near Telegraph Hill. Although many men were hit by their own creeping artillery barrage which was reportedly going too slow.
