Ralph Alexander
Kirkup
1894
Chillingham, Northumberland
27th October 1918
Killed in action in the attack east of the deep and fast-flowing Piave river on the Austro-Hungarian frontline in taking Papadopoli island in the middle of the river. It seems likely that Ralph was killed in the initial advance on this side of the river.
